Novotel Bogor is a 45-minute drive from central Jakarta, set among breathtaking gardens and an 18-hole golf course. Guests can relax on the Novotel’s poolside terrace under the shade of tropical trees.

Good

Beautiful property and the grounds were immaculate. Food and service at the restaurant was excellent.

The room was dirty with sewing needles and hair everywhere from previous guests. Walls were mouldy, the bed was uncomfortable and most of the amenities were missing and not replaced during services. One tiny bath towel per person.

As expected, good to maintain its title as a great hotel with reputable name

Though it is quite an old infrastructure, it's really great Novotel can still manage it really well, the facility, the services, quality of the food and although it is a family Friendly hotel but for a couple it still can be considered as a hotel with nice ambience for couples.

Beautiful hotel, relaxing

The landscape of the hotel is great. It's lovely and beautiful. Not to mention the facilities for the kids, including the mini zoo, horse riding, the pool etc. Very suitable for family with small children. The breakfast is also great and taste delicious.

My room is apparently the old one. While the wood ornament and the layout are very nice and warm, I dont like the fact that they haven't done any renovation of the room, especially for the bathroom and toilet. I got a torn cushion in my room even though it's small. I was not informed that if you book a standard room, you will get the old version room. However, if you book the superior one and above, you will get a new renovated room. Unfortunately, those rooms were not available when I asked for an upgrade due to fully occupancy of the hotel. Too bad that my first experience staying there should be in the old room.

The serenity and the beautiful garden

Ordered the balcony room expecting to get a view to the garden inside, instead given a new upgraded balcony room with actually much better interior, but the view outside from the balcony is not as nice as the old ones.

Nice, picturesque grounds.

Nice, picturesque grounds. Plenty of greenery. Cool environment. Pet-corner was exciting for the children.

Biggest complaint has to be distance from nearby outside restaurants. Need a car to travel anywhere close and Bogor is a crowded city, so it was inevitable that one got caught in a traffic jam whenever one went out.

Had the worst experience in so called 5 star hotel

Nothing. It is not worth it. Pictures on booking.com and instagram are big fake.

Extreme old rooms . Full of ants and mosquitos. Wash rooms fitted with antique fittings. No hot water. Lobby is under renovation. No valet parking. In instgram pictures Makes u think rooms are good and new. In actual very old. Room service is crappy. Picks ur call after 5 tries. Water is leaking in hallways. There can be no excuse that renovation is going on. Pathetic restuarants.

Didnt meet my expectation at all

Very large area of the hotel, lot of plants n garden , but i think the tree around are too big , so it looks more like in a forest not garden anymore. Too many mosquito in the garden

I think its very old 5 star hotel. I dont think that i could say its a 5 star hotel anymore, because its too old. The interior of hotel, the room is very old, some wood in the room is not really nice anymore, really looks old, some of them dirty n black colour, the floor in the bathroom , the wall is not painted well, ( cat tambal2 di tembok) its real old.. i travelled with 4 old people (aunties n parents), 1 woman 1baby, we reserved 3 rooms Along the hallway to our room on the second floor, there is some leaking from the ceiling , and some of it ,is broken , dirt / black colour on the ceiling because of the water leaking. If i am asked to come back, i would say not to come back anymore.. sorry, i expect novotel accor group is better than this.

Our family enjoyed staying at this hotel and would like to return someday.

This hotel is suitable for families with children. The environment was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was cozy and clean. There were many choices of delicious food for breakfast. The scenery was beautiful. There were free shuttle service to a mall at the city centre.

It would be better if the small red stones on the pathway leading to the swimming pool is replaced by pavement as it was quite uncomfortable to walk, especially for kids and their strollers. It would also be better to place more recreational equipments on the children playground.

Really disappointing

The general surroundings of the hotel i.e. greenery etc were very lush and beautiful

The accommodation and hotel itself felt very run down, dated and even dirty in some parts. We paid for one of the better rooms but if that is the best room in the hotel then OMG - not good! The food options on the menu were not always available making it frustrating to order for kids and family members.

The service is good.

The service is good. The location is fantastic - we were looking for a quiet getaway and we got just that! The massage offered at the hotel was also very good.

The room condition could be better. The ceiling/wall, the doors, the Jacuzzi look old. It would be much better if the facilities are also well maintained and appear good.

Honestly, i doubt with booking.com app, when i booked this room , it was written “free breakfast” but when i checked in, the staffs said no breakfast. so i didn’t get breakfast. How could it be? The location is a little far,and the building was too old, i found cockroach under the table. The toilet was stinky even already clean up. When i just went to toilet,one the toiletry(toothpaste) already cracked and gone.

Situated in a green area with golf course surrounding it.

Situated in a green area with golf course surrounding it. Spa situated in the hotel is ok, value for money.

The property is under renovation which was not stated when we booked it. The room given to us (we were upgraded to a deluxe room) was absolutely pathetic- TV was broken, refrigerator was broken, bath curtains were broken.. when we complaint, were shifted to another (mock up) room which this property post renovation intends preparing. The breakfast served was poor as well with limited staff to serve - tables were unkept and dirty.
